I noticed with mine the door wouldn't open in really sunny weather. I guessed something must have been expanding in the heat. I squirted some lithium grease around the latch and spent a good ten minutes opening and closing the door. Its been fine all week now. I don't know if this is the same as yours but I could hear the motors working when pressing the fob, mine must have just been sticking. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

Is there an easy way to test if its the solenoid or some thing else with out stripping it?
