Stupid mistake of the dat

Getting fuel, reversed went to go round the island that the HGV pumps are on, looked at the other end of the island, worse comes to the worst and I've not reversed enough I can always just drive over it, not knowing that on this end of the island is was a double kerb !!!!!

Result being I've ripped the front underneath, although not too badly.

Anyone know if this cover is cosmetic or actually serves a purpose ??? Any idea what is called/part number ??

Cheers
Phil

They are called tree profile kerbs designed to stop lorries driving over them, youve no chance in anything less without damage, its to remind you next time not to do it.
Do you mean youve dented the steel undertray/sump guarding under the front?

There's a plastic cover on the front which is designed to be removed - one has to remove it to get at the front towing point. If it's just that it should be easily replaced. I guess it's mainly there for cosmetic reasons, and to direct airflow under the car.

Gents

Thanks for this, after closer inspection it seems to be a firbreglass cover, which with a bit of fibreglass is repairable.

Cheers
