Just had a half day at Luton Hoo, many thanks to Lisa and the team. Not as good as the old Milton Keynes centre it's replaced, but hey it's still early days yet and let's face it ALL these centres are different and that's what makes them so good. Many thanks again Luton Hoo Land Rover Experience. |

We did Eastnor Castle in Hereford back in April before we got the FL2. Did it in a Defender 110 - that is a uber-off-roader but rubbish on the road. "Turning circle of character"

Our second Land Rover Experience in a month, this time at Dunkeld, Scotland. Have to say this is one of the best experience centres around with a natural rather than man made terrain/course. Thanks to our instructor Jill and all at LRE Scotland for making our morning so enjoyable! |

I had the LR Experience at Peckforton yesterday in the Freelander and was also really impressed with what these vehicles can do. Climbing their 50% hill in the quarry was a real eye-opener! I don't think I'd ever be brave enough to do half of what they do on the LRE in my own car but it's nice to know what it's capable of if the need ever arises.

Have done the Eastnor one in my F2. Unbelievable. So much fun, and no damage to the vehicle! Almost shamed my Disco, but she is so much better in ruts! 1998 300TDi Auto Disco, never to be forgotten.

LR have recently changed to voucher system and now issue then direct to customers who buy a new LR/RR product. There are still some dealer issued vouchers in circulation and they are currently still being honoured (but probably not for much longer). A few are still appearing for sale on ebay and other forums (try Disco4.com) and are kosher. For anyone looking for a LR Experience Centre with natural rather than man made terrain have a look at Rockingham Castle in Leicestershire/Northamptonshire. |

I am shortly taking the youngest on the start-off road.com which is a Landrover experience in an Evoque, with dual controls. And the best bit is she is paying! 1998 300TDi Auto Disco, never to be forgotten.

Recently did a half day at Eastnor on a dealer voucher. Used the F2 as I wanted to see what mine was capable of. It was the an amazing experience and great fun. I was very impressed with the car's capability but as I said to the instructor it would need someone whom I liked very much to be in mortal danger before I took MY Freelander anywhere like the course we went around.
