Be careful, I fitted Mintex front pads from Halfords on a Sunday to the old FL1 auto, the following Wednesday they failed, boiling the brake fluid, went through a junction with smoke pouring from the brakes. I was lucky I didn't hit anything I replaced them with genuine parts and never had a problem with them again. Not a poke at Mintex per say, as I know they used to make excellent quality products in days gone bye. I booked my car in today to a local indie for a service. I was talking brakes to the garage owner (LR dealer trained 20+ years experiance) and mentioned Mintex pads. He said they were not very good in his opinion. He said he would go for Pagit or TWR from his own experiance. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

As Mojo said, the LR Genuine ones are TRW with Galfer friction material. Therefore, if you have just bought TRW ones then they are not Genuine. FL2 HSE Auto Galway Green
