I can't get my head round low rolling resistance tyres, what happens under braking, are they simply not as good, I can understand lateral grip can be provided by the tread pattern which is non existent radially? |

My SD4 has cross contacts too. They aren't wearing too badly, 20,500 miles and they look like they have a few thousand miles left. |

Tread looks same to me, they weigh less, thinner side wall I think, but I haven't noticed any different in driving with them, but mpg did go up, but I started using brand diesel at same time
