I tried mine in gloss black vinyl before I painted it. It looked OK, but you could tell it was covered.

That will be it on mine now regarding Piano black trim. I like to keep things looking OE. Any more and it would start to look OTT. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

Definitely need to get rid of my Wood Trim - much to 80s for my liking
Misses is saying im turning in to a Land Rover freak ever since i bought my freely Very Happy and i agree with her!!
If it wasn't for this forum and members doing upgrades with face lifts, trims, steps, and the list gos on, i would of just bought it and not known and difference and left it as it was Laughing

I used Hicote from my local motor factors. But Halfords is better. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
