How easy is it to remove the grab handles and the gear surround? I have a load of carbon fibre wrap left over and I've wrapped several interior parts om previous cars before so these look relatively easy

The grab handles should be easy. I haven't removed mine yet but, if you feel underneath the handle, there should be a little hole that you can pop a screwdriver in to pop it out.

Hopefully that will help a bit. Thumbs Up

Grab handle removal

The most crucial element when removing grab handles is to degrease with a little soap and water the dry off before attaching masking tape verticall upwards to the upper trim and glass then use a soft plastic scraper blade at the bottom to prise outwards.
It so easy however they pop off in an instant and fly off!!! Hence using masking tape as a restrainer.

Chris, there was no hole at the bottom on mine, but its easy to insert a suitable tool (I used a trim remover) and just gently lever them off. It really is a simple 5 minute job. Many thanks to Mav71 for the inspiration and to Dan @ Duckworth for the speedy delivery. Although I have a black interior, it still gives a classy look for very little effort. I've posted a pic in my gallery for anybody interested. Smile

Yep very simple to get them off. There is a screwdriver sized slot on the bottom to pop them off. Finally finished wrapping the handles in high gloss black. You just need a hair dryer Razz
