Do not confuse DAB with Digital, not the same. If you have DAB it will be found by.
Press the FM button, FM1' press again, FM2, if you have DAB when you press a third time it will say DAB as will the fourth time of pressing, if you just have FM on the third press it will go to FM1 again  p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

hmm...interesting. Mine does just cycle between FM1 and FM2, which would suggest then no DAB.

However I just checked the manual (page 80) which suggests that if you have DAB, 'digital' is written in a smaller font underneath 'FM' on the button and it's absent if you don't. I do have digital written on the button...suggesting I do have DAB!

Not in the Freelander. Early Freelander 2 radio buttons had an FM/Digital button. Digital referred to digital tuning and not DAB. When DAB became available, the radio button remained the same and Digital still referred to digital tuning rather than DAB.

As AD said you can check for DAB by cycling the button through FM1, FM2 and if you have DAB the next press will be DAB1 etc. Also when you switch the radio on it will tell you if it is a DAB radio.

Try a search, this has been covered many times over the years.

^^as above, alternatively, check your rear side windows for the tell-tale DAB aerial built into the glass... Foraging near Gaydon....

Badger, I think they all have the aerial built in to the glass, if they are connected to anything that's a different matter.

Chris, I think yours should have DAB, pretty sure it became standard on the MY11 build on the HSE and possibly some of the other models, may even have been MY 10.  p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

I had this problem with mine I had to go up the biggest hill I could find and store them.

I also had to set mine to UK as it hadn't been done at PDI. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Just done exactly that. Works perfectly now.

went mine was collected the other day for a service the chap asked if I had any problems with the DAB and then elaborated o say that 4G mobiles have really messed up the DAB systems in LR's.

Glad you like your new FL2 - Found MK to be expensive when the quoted me for mine but the first year service was good. If I replace mine for another I'd go for an auto
