Can anyone tell me how these fit please? Think a black set would be a nice addition and might prevent car park dinks as well as basic side protection!!

Anyone have any good experience of any sites to buy them from? Other than fleabay.....

Ive been pondering side steps or bars for a while now and i think ibve decided on the bars.

I have seen these genuine black bars on ebay:

The price seems good too.. Can anyone tell me if the genuine ones have any advantage over say the ones powerful uk arer selling? I really wanted the chunky ones but think these will be the 2.5" ones same as powerfuluk here:

well to be honest at that price go for the genuine ones most definitely, Duckworth are a site sponsor on here too so go direct to Dan rather than through ebay

I may even contact him for a set for me Very Happy

I can't believe you cannot buy the brackets individually. One of mine has corroded but I still have all the bolts and washers.

I suppose at least they will come in for spares as the others are likely to go at some point.

I do like the look of the black bars and that is a very good price from Duckworths. Can anyone tell me if they will offer any protection to the lower door mouldings (which are painted on my car)? Which sticks out further?

The bars will stick out a tad further but it’s all to do with the height of the car your parking next too. Running boards would stick out further and keep the doors a bit more cleaner and all the muck stick to the underside of the flat step. MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

I've got the o.e.m. LR side tubes fitted and they don't protrude out further than the door mouldings. Thumbs Up FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.

Hmm I will have to take another one off to have a look. But that might be the best way to sort new brackets.
