Owners manual says that rear wiper will operate while you wash then two wipes after you release the washer button, followed, after a few seconds, by a drip wipe (as per the front, which does work fine).

Doesn't help fix yours, but mine does seem to do this from memory; will double check next time I'm in the car. (2013MY GS) |

Chris R - there is only 1 washer bottle for both screens and the headlamp wash, although headlamp wash is disabled when the bottle level is low, to preserve what's left for the screens F/R.

I looked at the handbook and it doesn't mention anything about washing the windscreen! Or maybe I'm going blind. I find it odd that the front wipers don't wipe after you have stopped spraying. But the rear one does.
