Owners manual says that rear wiper will operate while you wash then two wipes after you release the washer button, followed, after a few seconds, by a drip wipe (as per the front, which does work fine).

Mine doesn't do this; dealer electrician is looking into it in case it's a vehicle set-up option on 13MY. Has anybody got this working? Gone... 2013 XS TD4 Manual Firenze Red

From memory, my rear wiper wipes once after you have stopped spraying the windscreen. My rear washer didnt work the last time I used it, but since then I filled up the washer canal. Are there two washer bottles?

Chris R - there is only 1 washer bottle for both screens and the headlamp wash, although headlamp wash is disabled when the bottle level is low, to preserve what's left for the screens F/R.

The drip wipe for the front screen (and similarly described for the rear!) is new for my 13MY after 09MY it replaced. I'm not sure what the spec of your 2011 car is. If it doesn't do it, what does it say in your owner manual? Gone... 2013 XS TD4 Manual Firenze Red

I looked at the handbook and it doesn't mention anything about washing the windscreen! Or maybe I'm going blind. I find it odd that the front wipers don't wipe after you have stopped spraying. But the rear one does.

I'm a bit confused. Maybe someone can shed some light?

6. Windscreen washers:Press and release to operate.
Press and hold to operate both the washers and the front wipers. The wipers will operate while the button is pressed and for 2 further wipes after the button is released.
7. Rear wiper.
8. Rear wash/wipe: Pull to position 8 and hold for as long as the wash is required. The wipe interval is dependent on vehicle speed.

5. Rear window wash/wipe. Press and hold to operate the rear washer and wiper. The wiper will operate for two further wipes after the button is released. After a few seconds a drip wipe will clear any residual water.
6. Single wipe of windscreen, or hold down for further continuous wipes.
7. Windscreen wash/wipe. Pull and hold to operate the front washers and wipers. The wipers will operate for three further wipes after the stalk is released. After a few seconds a drip wipe will clear any residual water.
8. INT - rear wiper, intermittent operation.
