Mine is also very boring. My first name plus first letter of last name. I keep things simple because as I get older i don't want to forget who I am. Others might though! Ralph

I am a huge fan of Superman. Read the comic books when I was younger, watched the Reeve films and the cartoons. I think Superman Returns is better than folks claim and frankly I am dying to see the new Man of Steel movie.

P.S, thanks for the nod Doc. I return the compliment because your name is a good one Thumbs Up 60 plate SD4 XS, Stornoway Grey, Arm rest pack

Names

When I registered, Martins site would not allow my preferred name of 'The Lion' so I had to do a quick think and as we are regular Dancers I just went for the best known 1930's male dancer Fred Astaire, famous from many early era films.
.
We have a Narrowboat called 'The Lion' which I built in 1999, powered by a Lister 1951 historic marine engine of 4.3 litres ( no turbo, no supercharger, no remaps, no cat, no DPF, does all of 850 rpm and 27hp)
.
Kind regards from Fred 2010GS Auto ex Celeb, Santorini Black, 2011 facelift , spoiler, spats, mudflaps, LED footwell lamps, Witter detach,
Other cars:-
1958 & 1959 Austin J40 Pedal Cars under restoration (I make many J40 parts)
If you have an Austin J40 or Pathfinder Pedal Car looking for a new home pls PM me.

I’ve been using Wizzard Prang as a userID since the internet was invented (well nearly). “I say, wizard prang, old chap!” - the sort of exclamation a 1940’s Spitfire pilot might have made as he walked away from his crashed aircraft or climbed out of the MG T which he had just parked in a ditch. I added the extra “z” so that it wasn’t a real word - to avoid spam bots.

wizard |ˈwɪzəd|
adjectiveBrit. informal, dated
wonderful; excellent.

prang |praŋ|Brit. informal
verb [ with obj. ]
crash (a motor vehicle or aircraft).
• dated bomb (a target) successfully from the air.
noun
a crash involving a motor vehicle or aircraft.
• dated a bombing raid.

Gone: Defender 90 200Tdi, Grey Raptor
Gone: 2012 FL2, TD4 GS Manual, Santorini Black

United States 2008 LR2 i6 SE Auto Tambora Flame

Years back i did a fair amount of SCCA road racing at tracks like Sebring, Daytona, Road Atlanta and VIR here in the U.S. including some 12 hours endurance races. I did pretty well under "dry" conditions but once it rained my driving style fit the conditions very well. Teammates started calling me Rainmaster and it stuck.
