Is this a sign of things to come with insurance companies? Work colleague needed to email a copy of her license to prove she could drive, now Mr Slaneydore needs to prove the car has got an imobilsor, what next? Pictures to prove its got wheels? Never thought of the cloning issue but thinking about it you dont really know where the email address is directed to, anyone could get it. Maybe just sending your driving license number is a safer alternative? Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

Slaneydore, you should have asked for a discount on your insurance to take into account the money, time and effort of using your telephone for something that was never required in the first place.

That I did not know.... As for OP.... personally I would have told them where to go but I assume there was a good reason you did not. As for appoligies - fat chance... in this day and age the customer comes second which is why businesses are failing all over the place and personally I think we will see the smaller ones come back.... /rant Terran Terran 'The' Car For The Modern Day UK Roads ( ie all the pot holes ) 'A Freelander that leaks oil is just marking its territory' - Wise words Now a member of the FL2 'Silly Bill' Club |

Change insurance companies is the answer. I go to Sainsburys for my car insurance. Not only do they offer tghe same cover as the "big"insurance companies but knock spots of the price they charge. Infact for this second year of insurance with them it went down not up which makes a change. I have heard Tesco do a good car insurance as well
