Scotland 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Barolo Black

Many thanks for the replies.

Car is now booked in for its first service and I'm confident the issues will be sorted out having mentioned to them the intermittent faults with the HDC and Terrain Response thus far.

Had another look tonight and I'm 99% sure its diesel but obviously cant explain the green colour. It is flammable. The antifreeze is a pinky colour, definitely not green and maybe a bit of yellow. I guess if its off colour the dealer will notice this and hopefully investigate. The level of it is ok.

Fuel wise I go to BP and Sainsbury's (City Diesel) which isnt the best but still should do the job fine.

Dave, Good to know that changing the spill pipes is an easy job.

New to the Landrover engine so learning everyday Thumbs Up

The only green fluid on my FL is the power steering fluid but it's nowhere in that area. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.

Will update on dealer progress as soon as I can.

Interior wise I intend having the latch on the glove box replaced and two of the vent clips re attached or replaced. Not the end of the world if these things arent covered.

I opted for a full leather interior but when I went to collect the car I was disappointed to see the drivers side right hand bolster was noticeably creased like you'd expect from a car with a few thousand miles on the clock.

Additionally, 9 out of 10 times you have spring movement in the back of the seat when you sit in which just feels like the seats havent been constructed properly atall and this was an £1,800 option.

Since the dealership I bought the car from has changed hands I've decided just to live with it.

Vent clips

Hi your update is fine.
Vent clips only come with the vent assembly. They are covered under LR warranty, I had one changed however the dealer is likely to try and get you to pay £40 ish per vent.
Seat base foams and leather and fabrics have been changed under warranty for a number of forum members.
If you do an enthusiastic search on this forum you will find the sources.
Regarding the 'seat back springy' I have no knowledge maybe other forum members will comment.
In general perhaps it might be prudent to limit current work to the service and engine and use a different main dealer for the outstanding warranty items in a few weeks time when the service book looks more kosher.
Kind regards Fred 2010GS Auto ex Celeb, Santorini Black, 2011 facelift , spoiler, spats, mudflaps, LED footwell lamps, Witter detach,

Netherlands 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Baltic Blue

Had the same problem this weekend with my Freelander MY13. LR towed me away. Seems to be a faulty injector.
Lots of smoke inside the car. Big Cry
