Turning right shifts the weight of the car to the left so could be a left side wheel bearing starting to go. Try swopping wheels left to right to eliminate tyre wear first though. |

well, swapped tyres from front to back, also had them rebalanced and had the four wheel alignment redone, and still getting rubbing/vibe through the steering and accelerator, tyres have 4mm left allround, scratching head now. don't really want to stick new rubber on yet. mmm!! |

I really don't think it's tyre related, I think I am getting the same thing

may sound silly but has a tyre gone oval in shape? balancing and alignment would not show this up. It happened on my Hillman Hunter GT more years ago than I care to remember. relates closely/similar to a flat spot but doesn't show any tread wear

thanks for that, took it back to stratstone this morning and they have since been in touch and confirmed a wheel bearing had failed and also that the two front tyres had been damaged as a result, awaiting delivery of vehicle, so once i have given it the once over and taken for a drive, will give final outcome, but so far looks good. hillman hunter gt any pics |

Having taken the fl2 for a lengthy drive, can confirm that the rubbing/vibration on turning right has gone and that the wheel bearing being changed has appeared to have rectified the issue, plus 2 brand new tyres on the front, would like to say that the salesman that i purchased the vehicle through in startsone was very thorough in his approach in rectifing this issue for me, and thank you all for all the info you have given. |

It's getting costly, I know you have taken the extra warranty, but maybe it's time |
