I just have been notified by LR that there is a recall for the engine management system (Software update).
In December last year I did a software upgrade recall (also engine management), so this must be out since 2013.
Does anyone know what its about ? what does it modify ?
I believe the one end 2012 was for the better management of the DFP and the regeneration cycle.

I've got a 10 plate S model, I wonder if the recall is being made in the UK? Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

ok done ! apparently its another software upgrade for the better management of the DPF filter.
this recall replaces the software of October 2012 (there was another recall)

lets see if this is the final one or there is a third recall....

Our German friends are saying it's not a recall but a bulletin, and its for a DPF software update for EU4 emissions cars, our DPF cars have software written for EU5 spec.

Again, only what I've read elsewhere.

could very well be that ! my model is a MY10 its an EU4 with DPF:
but here in Italy its a compulsory software update (to be done at the next service). its not a safety issue, so it wont be a proper recall...
