Big Joe Bastardi tweeted the other night that the winter of 62/63 was alot worse than the coldest winter on record of 62. I think he thinks the next winter is the one to watch out for. It will be interesting to see how the next winter pans out, seems to be lots of scientists in a pickle over it all! Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

Well Stevie I have made plans already for 2 purchases for next winter (which means it will turn out mild!). Firstly a set of the aforementioned Conti TS850's now that I don't have a 4x4 and also a new winter coat. I want a North Face Parka. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Dont blame you on both accounts. I bought a Caterpillar Puffer jackect thing in October and its kept me very warm through the winter. My FL2 tyres were down to 3 mm when the first snow came and the car was all over the place. New tyres and this last lot of snow was no problem at all.

Heres to the next winter!! Thumbs Up Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

Indeed. Short of a 4x4, small FWD cars are best equipped to handle snow due to their light weight and small dimensions so fitting winter tyres to the fez should see me through all but deep thick snow that needs ground clearance. Being as I live on a main road which is a priority route for gritters, this is rarely an issue.
