Russben, Grey is much better on RRS, although the RRS Autobiography in Black in Hunters showroom looks gorgeous, its eye watering £70k price tag made me get put and close the door gently

I thought Stornaway grey was discontinued? Isn't it Orkney Grey? |

Yes, it takes me a while to work out which colour people's FL2's are I think Stornaway grey was discontinued due to the Japanese tsunami along with Lago grey and Bali blue (maybe more?). |

No Stornoway was still around after the tsunami, it's the colours that became scarce as it was the pigment of the colour that was hard to get hold of. Any shade of gray, and black and white were easy as my parents wanted a Rimini FL but couldn't get one for love nor money Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35

Got my facts wrong. The letter said that Santorini black would be discontinued, how come you can get it on FL2's today? |

Also Borolo and Havana albeit at a silly premium. MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.

Hmm. Still prefer santorini black. Looks fabulous when its clean & in the sun. Ok, poor argument really after looking outside. I must admit I'm not keen on the Autobiography. I don't like the bright aluminium strip under the front bumper. If I had one I'd have to get it powder-coated grey or black to tone the front end down a bit. Poke it, Poke it, make it do it again!! I admit that the Evoque looks best in grey. For some reason black doesn't seem to suit it. Poke it, Poke it, make it do it again!! Gone - 2008 Freel2 HSE Santorini Black Hello - 2010 RRS TDV6 3.0 HSE Santorini Black |
