Hi, thinking of fitting 19" wheels to our GS auto, which is presently running on 17". Has anyone done this and found the ride to be a lot too hard on the road. If so do you think 18" would be a better compromise. Best regards Adrian |

I have 18's fitted and have no problems with the ride comfort at all...it's perfect (But i did come from a lowered hot hatch!).

I bought a set of the mentioned 19" chrome shadow alloys from e-bay, on Friday for £680. Can confirm that they are pukka, the genuine article and brand new. Fitted with Continental Contacts 4x4 which retail at around £175 each so the wheels were effectively free - wheel and tyre cost £522 per corner from stealer at full retail. Previously ran 18" HSE alloys with Goodyear Wranglers and there is very little difference in ride comfort between the 18" and 19". |

Hi jmmym, I was watching those and the other set the chap had which went for £800, he lets these go for £675 so you done well, I have opted for a 17" hse set, the wife has had a lot of back surgery and so was concerned about making the ride hard and bumpy, we where not able to get a drive in a fl2 with 19" fitted as a test. Thanks For the info.
