Does anybody know the technical difference between pre 2010 non DPF and facelift DPF engines? Are there mechanical parts and/ or software changes to make and get better fuel figures?

My SD4 is used to travel weekdays into and out of the city from a village on the outskirts, average speed shows as 29 mph and it returns about 33 mpg.

I was paying £120 for 6 months tax on my FL2. My 'downgrade' to the Fez has at least resulted in free road tax. Quite a novelty but still have to apply for one every year its just that it doesn't cost anything. You would think the Govt could cut admin costs on such cars by just issuing a permanent tax disc. I do same thing for the zero road tax on tractors etc, renewing every year at least confirms that you have insurance and mot where applicable At work At home "I can't always believe facts I read on the web" - Charles Dickens winner by default of the tractor vs caravan race |
