Door control modules

After my drivers side window stopped working, then would work when it felt like it put the car into landrover. They couldn't find a fault. I stripped the door car off and tested the output to the door motor from the control modual. After about 12 times of winding the window up and down it failed with no output.
Ordered a new door control modual and fitted as per workshop manual. Took car to landrover for reprogramming but when they tried they couldn't do it, saying it now needed the rear drivers side door modual replacing at the same time which was news to me and landrover.
I fitted a new rear door modual and went back in for a second time for programming. Just got car back and everything working just fine at long last. They have now updated their records so if they have to replace anymore door moduals then they need to replace in pairs.
Just thought I would share this with you all incase you have these problems Thumbs Up

My rear door died altogether, I couldn't open it or operate the window and after a bit of fault finding I narrowed it down to the rear door module and have replaced this twice (the first one had a broken fixing lug) and the door and controls worked perfectly ok without any reprogramming.
