2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Tambora Flame
Autobox Selector Light

Not sure of the best way describe the issue .

When you select drive / Reverse / Park etc on the Auto the Display to the side of the lever usually illuminates to show what gear you are in - It also shows on the dash.

The illumination on the other halfs FL2 suddenly stopped working - It still shows okay on the dash but as I am reminded frequently it should work and it doesn't.

I cannot see any reason for this - all fuses appear to be okay and nothing else has stopped working.

Any technical experts that can advise what to look at / check or is it into the dealer ( its a 2007 HSE) Disco 3 HSE

If you are just looking at removing trim around the auto gear selector; select neutral, position your fingers between the selector and the surrounding plastic (your fingers are pushing the soft liner/material down), grab the "lip" of the silver plastic trim and pull up. MY10 TD4 SE Auto
