Good luck. Hopefully we will see you on the forum often. The Fiesta is a lovely car to drive, I wanted one in Lime green before I got the FL2.

Gentlemen, I salute you. I am pleased that others have seen my approach here. I have enjoyed 3 years of FL2 ownership and knowing how awesome it has been in winter, I will be buying winter tyres in due course to avoid getting stuck (unless its deep then I might need help )

Excellent choice Doc'. You will enjoy it in a different way from the Freelander. Don't forget us though. - 2007(57) XS Auto, Rimini Red, Alpaca Leather.

Cheers folks. Tough decision but a necessary one. Chrisr1806, I know all too well how supreme the FL2 is but we can at least chalk up some points for the Fez on running costs and handling

Just to satisfy my curiosity, I have looked at prices on the Continental TS850 winter tyres which according to various reviews, is the king of kings of winter tyres for cars (not inc 4x4's as far as I know)

I will be around no worries! Picking it up Saturday. TCH at Derby did me the best deal in the end as they had one in stock and it has privacy glass too. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

When you get the car, I would suggest a good coat of wax/sealent as solid red paints can oxidise in the sun, and go pink , something with good UV blocking will help, for ease of use I'd suggest http://gtechniq.com/shop/3s-for-cars/exter...eal-250ml/
