I used the three 'ally' strips in the kit that seperate top and bottom dash just to break the black up a little, I threw the rest away, it just didn't look right.

Do anyone have the alu kit fitted to black on black interior? What does it look like around the air vents?

Pics of an installed kit like above?

See my gallery for a pic of mine. There's nothing around the air vents - there are 3 horizontal bits (one along the top of the glovebox lid, one around the key dock and another around the light switch panel), two vertical panels which fit each side of the stereo/heater controls, and a panel which fits around the gear stick/TR controls.

I admit the full kit might not be to everyone's taste but with black plastic as far as the eye could see in my GS when I got it, I had to do something!

I too only originally fitted the 3 horizontal strips but temporarily attached the side panels with BluTak to see how they looked. After a day or two I concluded that I preferred the extra brightness of the silver to the sheer dullness of the expanse of black plastic. I haven't been brave enough to stick down the gear stick surround bit yet though so, at the moment, that's just resting there. It stays in place all by itself so I'll leave it like that for now until I can decide whether I prefer it to the original!

Are any of the "walnut" kits still available?

If so, what are they currently on offer at please?

Thanks,

John.
