I keep think about putting my Navman 510 back in the car for the POI speed camera, blackspots database, It also had all the caravan club sites POI'ed too Embarassed

But since i forgot to take it's bracket off the windscreen and one of the local chavs decided to open the window with a screwdriver to see if it was in the glove box, I don't want to take the risk.

Luckily it was a courtesy car Very Happy Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Don't understand why we don't get free updates (at least during the warranty period) considering the cost of the unit is so high. Is it just LR (and other manufacturers) being greedy? Phil

I'm sure they will try and justify the cost, however this doesn't sit comfortably with the likes of TT who now seem to offer map upgrades for free. Think there is an element of 'licence to print money' Whistle
