The dreaded indicator came on yesterday for the first year service.
A quick question as I have so little faith or belief in my local Essex dealer Lookers. My expereience with our origonal FL1 at Lookers was grim, both purchase and more importantly service. I replaced the vehicle, using a broker and purchsed my FL2 from Guy Salmon in Sheffield - it was everything Lookers isnt and almost a pleasure to part with my money. So service time is now due and I am not commuting to 250 miles to Yorkshire - what is market rate for the first service?

I use lookers in Colchester, never been anything but helpful with me. Give Kelly a bell, but negotiate price.

I got a silly money price from Lookers Chelmsford. On questioning it they knocked 60 quid off so why not give that price to start with. Got a better price from Listers in Droitwich where I bought it but it's a long way even coupled with a family visit. I used D S Autos in Rayleigh. They are independent LR specialists, trained technicians and use OEM parts. Maintain warranty too. First service around £270 including collect and deliver.
