We were up in the Lakes this weekend fo a short break and decided on a trip over the Wrynose/Hardknot Pass on the way back. It had obviously snowed quite hard during the week, with some pretty deep drifts still visible at the road sides. At just about the top of the Wrynose Pass we saw the first of two FL2s. This one hod obviously left the road and had ended up 'in the rough', having left the road on the off side. Here the ground is about a foot below the level of the road and strewn with boulders. I didn't get the chance to have a very good look, not wishing to find myself in a similar predicament, but it looked like it had sustained some hefty damage to the front off side wheel/suspension.

Aye, that's them. The one off the road I can understand being left, it looked ed, but the other one just looks like it was left.

I guess someone went beyond what THEY could cope with, it's not the cars fault |

I don´t think there is something wrong with the car. Maybe you should look for some error behind the steering wheel. I´ve been driving two wheel drive in winter conditions in Sweden for about 40 years now without crashing. Picking up my first 4x4 tomorrow and theres still a lot of snow here. Gonna have some fun, slippin´and sliding. Take it easy out there! “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.” LF2 HSE I6 2007 Alfa Romeo 156 2,0 TS 1999 Ferrari 348 tb 1990 |
