You are better off getting one that replaces one of the number plate lights.

I already had one of those and it catch on fire almost burning my LR2 to the ground with my wife inside

Why not get a 13MY tailgate handle that's for a rear-view camera spec car? That way you still have the correct number of reg plate lamps, a nicely mounted RVC and no hole in your bumper... |

Thanks for the heads up on this. I have put a fuse inline with mine plus the way mine is wired up the camera only gets power when I select reverse rather than it being on all the time. |

I am running my power from "F5" in the passenger side fuse box with a 10 amp fuse which feeds power to pin 30 on a relay, also is the on switch for my amps.
