Rear tailgate stop/brake light

Has anybody had problems with water ingress via the stop light reflector.
I was washing the FL2 today and applied the water up the way to clear away soap that was on the rear window and noticed water running down the inside of the rear window, I dried up the water and applied water onto the window again and the same happened, so I have contacted my dealer who is going to get back to me.

Will report back with my findings.

Yes, indeed. drove fl2 through the carwash and saw water on the inside.

The strabge thing is, that when I washed my car last week with a high pressure watergun, there was no water. I am gonna call my dealer next week....

Yes, I have also seen water running down the inside rear screen from the brake light. It only does it if I direct a high pressure spray in a certain way (upwards from below usually). The manual does state that high pressure hoses should be used with care in certain places!!! I haven't bothered the dealer yet, but depending on the comments made here I'll mention it to him the next time that I need to go in.

Mine doesn't leak but if it did, I would take it off and seal it with some silicon sealant. I woudn't waste time with a dealer that doesn't know what to do when the solution is so simple Rolling Eyes ______________________

Leaking high level brake light

Hi All, Newbie to the FL2 forums here

Just to let you know that I too have developed this leaking problem into the load area.

After the last heavy rain, I found the load space carpet very wet and you can tell that water has been running down the inside if the screen.

The light housing has always seemed a bit loose since new but I don't think it leaked originally!

Also just for the record the gear lever linkage seems to sqeak now as well

We are booked into Stratstone Aylesbury on Monday......see if they can fix him! They have been pretty good so far (touch wood)

Generally though I think that the FL2 is great! Love the drive, stereo, equpment etc They got a lot of things right when they designed this vehicle.
