looks like the ANGLE OF DANGLE was too shallow (guessing it a bungalow)

check your loft insulation, its either the result of a thaw and refreeze or your valuable heat is escaping and melting the snow on your roof At work

Yes CG, there was a thaw while there was a lot of snow on the roof followed by a hard freeze.
