looks like the ANGLE OF DANGLE was too shallow (guessing it a bungalow)
mine is old welsh cottage steeper pitch probable, therefore the shear factor is greater so
will slide quicker than shallow angle, whatever looks expensive ...!

Secondary point, wonder if people who are having all these other things put on the roofs ,
the extra weight more snow, ect ect is the roof past its design parameters for when it was first made ..??
who will take the blame ,home owners ,Installers
and are they informing their Insurance companies of the mods ....JUST A THOUGHT

Yes CG, there was a thaw while there was a lot of snow on the roof followed by a hard freeze.
Had the same thing happen to my garage despite a very steep pitch.
All the houses in the village looked the same.
Some new clips and all was fixed Thumbs Up Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.
