HI

Well it is still doing it. Starts up first thing in normal mode but next time you start it up it goes back into snow mode. Any more tips.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Santorini Black
Snow mode...

Glad other people are having this... I thought I was going loopy! Laughing

Mine did it when it was snowing, but hasn't done it since! I'd read the whole thing about its manual but seem to remember it did it last year too come to think about it when we had the snowy February!

Hopefully it's not another thing that needs replacing, had the master cylinder and clutch etc last year now apparently the Diff! starting to hurt the wallet a bit and SWMBO is threatening me with a new Mondeo lol! 2007 XS - HST Body kit - Retro fit TomTom - Rear Screens - LED Footwell lights

My 44k miles 07 FL2 was doing the same thing... starting in snow mode and it once gave a traction fail error. Dash was like a Christmas tree.
Battery volts after a rest was 12.3v
Charged the battery overnight. Checked after half an hour off charge we had 12.8v
Started the car and again got the snow setting light up. Stopped the car and checked the battery and we had 12.2v
Put in a new battery and not had a problem since. Yet no apparent difference in the starting sparkle of the old and new batteries.

and there was me thinking the FL2 was my only LR without a soul. Just need to fix the intermitant air bag light next
