I assuming it will park the wipers vertically, especially the rear ones

Stops the snowfall from putting pressure on the wipers and bending them, seen a few broken rear wipers due to this in th alps Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

If so, does it place the wipers in the " heated zone" as the heating elements don't extend to the side which may leave one wiper frozen to the screen.
It sounds good in principle though Thumbs Up

Parks the wipers about 2 inches further up than normal allowing you to safely lift the blades away from the windscreen without damaging the bonnet. Only works on the front wipers as the rear one can be lifted away from the glass in its normla position.

It parks the wipers 10-15 degrees up the screen, supposedly so you can fold them back but I can fold them back anyway! I did use it with big freeze forecast when I was at a hotel with the newbie to make sure that the wipers were closer to the fast clear area served by the PTC heater in defrost mode. The winter park also measn the wiper blades are well onto heated elements too. Gone... 2013 XS TD4 Manual Firenze Red
