In the base of the cubby hole Iain, is there a mat, if so there will be a single screw underneath holding the cubby in place, take this out and replace with the new armrest cubby. |

thanks taz, had another look and there is a rubber mat at the base of the cubby hole. I notice there is an auxiliary power socket next to the cubby, I take it the new cubby would render this out of use ? Iain |

No the new cubby will allow use of the socket, here is the one in my car albeit a lowly GS without armrests.

The one I fitted does not have a sliding lid, but you don't need it if you have armrests. There is plenty of room for plugging stuff in the sockets as has ben said. Here is a pic I have posted before, showing how I use the storage box for use with my Ipod which is permanently wired in. Works well!
