I keep reading posts on various forums that say that Low Profile tyres are no good in the snow, what has the side profile got to do with it, is it not what the profile is across the tyre that counts. |

I can understand that if someone is running a 35 profile on a 225 wide tyre, like I have on my Astra.

The same wheels and tyres are fine performance wise on the Evoque, why should it be different on a Freelander |

Iv got 19" evoque wheels on my11 sd4 auto. I live in Northumberland and the snow was a foot deep in some places and I had no trouble what so ever. |

I never doubted the wheel would go round,ride and drive ok, my only doubt is the way they dont fill the arches. its your car your taste, your happy |
