I've never even looked at how to diy clutch on FL2 so i'm afraid i can't help you there.
Wish i could.
Unfotunately, there are going to be a few FL2 members who will be in the same boat as you, possibly myself.
Which is why i'm trying to bring this to the attention of L/R. Dont think i'll get anywhere, but if you don't ask, you don't get.

It's possible that if you've been a good fellow with your car, ie dealer service record, you might get some contribution from L/R. Still b Censored y expensive though.

DIY info is like hens teeth, still looking.

Theres no hope of a contribution for me Big Cry

2007 manual touching 60k and on original clutch ( fingers crossed )

2007 manual here too, just hit 65k, but also joined the failed clutch club.

Next step to find the "how to" thread so I can try and find what is knackered.

Pedal hit the floor, can manually pull it back up and down with no ressistance.

Just a thought, i havn't looked, but is there a pedal return spring? Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

There is a clutch pedal return spring but if you have travel all the way to the floor with very little resistance then its possilble it could be either air in the hydraulics or several fingers of the pressure plate have broken giving the very low resistants feeling on the pedal. The Clutch plate may be badly warn and the clutch plate adjuster on the pressure plate has not self adjusted.
If this is the case then the clutch will slip badly as there will not be enough pressure on the presure plate to transfere drive to the gearbox.
The only true way to find out would be a gearbox removal and examine the internal parts. Check there are no leaks in the hydraulics first. Thumbs Up

There was no evident clutch slippage, when depressing the clutch pedal there was some noise evident and a "feel" in the pedal. There is no evident sign of hydraulic fluid etc. At best I reckon the slave cylinder and thrust bearing have failed.

I got a workshop cd today, after studying the work required it's going to be a garage job, doesn't suit me and my driveway Crying or Very sad

Sorry it's turned out like this; there is an old proverb which says 'those who own Landrovers need deep pockets'.
Unfortunately.

Still waiting on quotes, a garage local to me that has a good rep has quoted £680, for clutch replacement not just slave cylinder. It's still an ouch but doesn't include the bruising I expected Smile

And I bought a couple of workshop manuals on disk too, more expense Laughing

Well I got the bruising quote £830 + vat, icludes DMF, but if not needed they will not charge Whistle car goes in tomorrow

The clutch started slipping at 20,000 especially when reversing up hill. Dealer checked said fine, finally started slipping Bradley under load at 28,500 new clutch under warranty DMF ok, I've also had the opinion bearing done and a door lock. Now out of warranty so keeping fingers crossed

Voted !

I am now on my 3rd Clutch/flywheel on my 57 plate FL.
It started slipping around 22,000 miles and was replaced under warranty, then again at 46,000 miles.
I was hoping that the design may have changed to prevent it happening again but obviously not.
Fingers crossed that this one will last, never had to have a clutch changed in any of my previous motors.
