i have a freelander2 td4 2.2.
the last service was 16th march 2012
the next service will be a 5 year/75,000 mile service, the car has only done 32,000
do i need to have the car serviced on or before the 16th march , or is there a limit after the date for example up to one month after.
do i wait until a reading/notification on the dash come up telling me when to have a service

Every twelve months or 15k miles or which ever comes first

The service indicator will start counting down in one of the LCDs in the dash when it is less than 30 days to service I think

i wouldn't wait for the service counter, never seen mine in 3 years of ownership, i sure they forget to program it or i don't look in the ODO dial area when starting for the half a second it comes on  Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

True - the 'number of days' indicator on the dash is only on for a few moments at startup. I nearly missed it altogether around the time of my first service...

Need to specifically look for it... ...
