It resets after about 6 hours back to normal, if its not doing this, then its possibly a faulty dial, or corrupt software

To remove/drain any residual voltage that may still be in the cars circuitry, such as in windings, coils, capacitors etc. |

It help discharge any ecu capacitors as some don't discharge as quickly as others, or so I recall reading something along those lines Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

Strange that you should post this. These past few mornings the TR has remained in normal whilst I have taken my wife to her office some 3 miles away. On the way back I stop on Minchinhampton Common, which is on the top of the Cotswolds,to walk the dog. On restarting the car the TR has reverted to GGS without any input from me. The Common is a snow field with temps about 2 degrees C below the surrounding area. Is the TR temperature sensitive???

completely manual, user input, unless you leave it in a TR setting it will revert back to normal after about 5 or 6 hours of been locked

Funny this should come up as I have noticed for the last couple of days that switching on the ignition has shown vehicle in snow mode, switch showing snow mode as well. Must check if mine is faulty or if car is hinting that ineed to drive differently Ralph

Happened to me twice last week, I started thinking maybe it was down to me hitting the start button and putting it into drive too quickly, so I'm going to give it a bit of time. However I also checked the battery voltage at the weekend and it was only 12.05v which is too low, You can get screwy effects with low battery voltages so it may be the fact that the original 5 year old battery is on its last legs. |

Now the temperature has risen a little I don't have the problem anymore. Interesting what is said about battery low voltage because I don't travel very far at the moment I wonder if the battery needs a boost.thats tomorrow's job after I have read the Telegraph! Ralph
