I've owned my 2007 Td4 HSE for a year now & just had it serviced (not by Landrover). The following weekend i pulled out of my street (low speed) & just crawled along even through my foot was hard on the pedal, after approximatly 10 seconds every thing was back to normal & accelatrated fine & its has been fine since.

Hi Jon, yes it was very cold & I only drove the car around 50 meters when the problem happened. I just has the fuel filter changed when I had the full service days before it wouldn't have been a Land Rover part though.

How cold is very cold? There is nothing wrong with supermarket fuel but I have heard that the winter performance can be compromised, where was the work done could it be possible the fuel filter wasn't primed correctly?

-2,not that cold now I think about it. I had the car serviced through servicestop.co.uk & they used a garage along the road from where I work & there reputation is pretty good. |

I am not sure Land Rover make a filter for the FL2. The "genuine" filters are made by Purflux and I am not sure anyone else makes one so I wouldn't worry too much about the quality of the filter. Certainly sounds like fuel starvation so maybe you have an airlock in the system. John

Sounds like a wrong filter, or there is an air leak somewhere into the fuel lines. Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35

If there is an airlock or the filter wasn't primed properly will this correct itself or do I need to take it back in to the service garage ?? |

You'd be better taking it back, you don't want it to starve when you need a bit of acceleration, ie onto a busy roundabout Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35
