Sounds like they could have trapped/crimped/crushed one of the pipes. |

Oh dear, some one at the garage is in for a right grilling. If something has been removed for acess etc then a funtional test should of been carried out before the car was released, silly . |

Car was fine for couple of days, covered about 30 miles so far then just started whining on a straight road with no steering input. Do you think the rack will be knackered. |

Dealer found a split power steering pipe at the back of the engine. Probably caused by them when they took the gearbox out. They have given me an spanking new autobiography range rover sport as a replacement so I can't complain to much. The rrs is more economical than the fl2 auto I got as a curtesy car the week before which is weird. |
