Towing limit for a Freelander 2 is 2000 kg so should have no issues with a 1300kg tow. |

Use the search facility and you'll find lots of info on towing, eg http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic12342.htm...ing+weight . But I doubt if you'll even notice you're towing that sort of load!

I don't think your Freelander will even notice 1300KG on the back !

Good to here. I was towing with a BMW e46 330d estate, the car didnt really like it and it was very noticeable (car rated to 1800kg towing), mpg dropped to 18mpg as well which was a little crippling.

Hi, its a little bit more involved than that. It depends on the trailer, if its "braked" or not. For a novice, a rule of thumb is 85% of the kerbweight and then up to 90% or a shade higher for a braked trailer. I think that the "rated" load is its ability to pull. I may stand to be corrected. For a 1300kg trailer, I sure you wont have any issues. I think the nose weight is rated at 150kg. chris |
