Australia 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Fuji White
Fuel economy when Towing

Prior to buying my Freelander I used this forum for a bit of research, so I am providing this information for any prospective buyers.

I have a SE which is about 6 months old, and finally had an opportunity to Tow our Goldstream Off-Road Crown Campervan up to Bright last weekend.

The fuel economy averaged 11.9L/100k, which I am fairly happy with. In addition the torque meant that i rarely got lower than 5th gear and comfortably sat on 100-105km/hr depending on speed limits. Overall a very impressive drive! (and very comfortable)

Yep, diesel, hence the torque.
