i don't own a tow rope, so i don't stop to help either Confused

but i don't see the point in buying one, if i did help and get no thanks for it then it leads to not wanting to help others.

every single year, we complain about the government and the councils and every year they ignore what the motorist are doing.. driving along in cars that can barely get by on a summers day never mind a 2" snowfall

Enough is enough.. make compulsory change winter tyres come in to effect, cuts down on the accidents, roads become less congested and not coming to a halt like most years at the first sign of snow

and before you ask, no i don't have winter tyres at the moment, for what i do the FL2 does just fine Thumbs Up

There was another thread where the use of tow ropes was discussed.

Suffice to say that although I carry a rope I am very wary about helping strangers. This is because:-
1 Towing another vehicle out of snow is only OK if you are completely happy that the recovery points are safe. never tow a rust bucket.
2 Sadly there are too many examples of people being towed by a good samaritan and then suing them for damage. The litigation culture that seems to have crossed the Atlantic. Sad John

very true, they got themselves into that mess, then let them work out how to get out of it, or how to walk home, most likely in work shoes and suit jacket as they'll be as ill prepared as there car was Wink

Her recovery points look safe enough! If she is looking for a pull I'd give her one. Best not to get stuck in her ruts though! John

I am sickened and disgusted that forum members feel it is necessary to show such images. What sort of depraved perverts are you lot enjoying the misfortune of these poor ladies who just happened to have got stuck in close proximity to a photographer ?

P.S - have you checked out the babe covered in mud with the defender ? Phwoarrr ! Very Happy _________________
