Best advice is to tell them to stay in bed until February unless they have Freelander I think. |

Sadly by best friend has a Q5, after previously having an A6 Avant and before that an XC90. To each their own I guess! (The XC90 was a real disappointment!) 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

Great Idea !! I pay good money for my Land Rover to slated all year round by other road user's (4 wheel drive this, 4 wheel drive that) For them to than whant my help to pull the out of a ditch and give my clutch a hard time to in helping them, for thank's mate. them If they are stuck they should have bought a 4x4 just like I have. It's funny how every one you best friend when the snow is 2 inches deep. A few years back I helped a bloke in an Audi A6 quottro (he kept saying his car was a quottro 4x4 and did'nt need help) BUT it was Stuck in 3 inchs of snow and blocking the road, 6 other blokes could not push it out. In the end he asked for help, I pulled him out. And he said that's a good car WHAT IS IT !! NO THANKS I do not pull any one out anymore, I will give the a lift and show them how good the Land Rover brand is in the snow. The only thing that stops me is other car driver's who are STUCK and blocking the road ahead. Sorry for the rant so Guy's & girl's drive safely and enjoy the winter but don't burn you clutch out being a super star, because they cost about a grand to replace!!! |
