Just thought I would dig this thread up in light of it's release on Blu-Ray and DVD. I bought the Blu-Ray (of course) which comes with a DVD copy anyway and it is now installed on my iPhone 5 should I find 2hr 20mins spare at work |

There is a behind the scenes bit about the opening sequence where Sam Mendes explains the rationale behind it. I quite liked it. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

it won't be the same as watching at the cinema. it may save you money but you're not experiencing the complete viewing sensation, shame really because it's such a brilliant film. Iain |

I don't agree there Iain, at the cinema, you might have the big screen, fancy sound system to fill the room, but is it a better viewing experience,? Maybe because the system is bigger and better than what you have at home, but then you have the annoying neighbour sat in the seats surrounding you

If that doesn't sell the home cinema experience nothing will. |

I am a fairly big cinema goer but that's cos I can't wait to see the big films as opposed to thinking it is a superior experience. Pros and cons to everything but never had a complaint about odeon at derby. My odeon card coupled to student discount reduces the prices nicely. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

my Tv's in the corner too, so i have had to have my speakers not in the best place too, the Right & Left Speakers too close to the tv, I would have liked a little more distance from the centre speaker
