I bought some screen wash at the weekend that goes down to -22. Was just wondering if I should empty my tank and then pour the new stuff in neat. I thought abough syphoning it, might give it a try! |

I would just top it up with it and just keeping topping it up, over the next month you'll be running near enough to been neat, after all you live in the UK not Norway |

I wouldn't use the screen wash button to empty the tank, the pump motors are not designed for continuous use and will burn out easily, Npinks has the best solution ______________________

When you know someone, as I do, who has had to pay £90 (not covered under warranty) to have their screenwash system dissasembled cleaned / unblocked and reassembled you will NEVER mix screenwashes again !! Unfortunately, some react with others and cause 'curdleing' which totally blocks the system. I recently drained my FL2 system, flushed/sterilised it, drained it again and then refilled it with a different type. For both drainings, I used the squirters - there is a time delay function that stops you squirting continuosly - presumably to protect the motors. Hope that helps someone. FL2 HSE Auto Galway Green

Dont know if it helps or not but I also only use soft water in the washer bottle saves the risk of calcium blocking the jets. |
