I find the Lenser P7 a cracking pocket torch but a bit pricey at around £40 (although I paid about £30 when they were on offer), i wanted another but didnt want to pay a similar price so plumped for this one

Less than half the price of the Lenser but is actually brighter and the batteries last a bit longer. Its not as well built as the Lenser but at that price i wasnt going to complain.

brightest 'torch' at last nights bonfire party in a very dark field, very impressive, stays going for well over 2 hours on a charge, never tested further

i bought a 3 pack of 200lumen Cree torches from costco, for £10

once i got a full set of working torches after replacing the first lot, the kids loved them, 150lumen, 200lumens and tatical strobe blinded lots of parents at the bonfire

Most of the staff on my station including myself have either the Fenix or the LED Lenser T7, we were realy happy with them untill a trainee apeared with an Ultrafire torch off fleabay with a Cree T6? LED and made us sick he paid £18 for it along with 2X rechargable batteries and charger,the light output is far better than my T7 but the build quality is whilst working nights I now carry an Ultrafire leaving the T7 as a spare in the car, the output is stated to be 1600LM the torch forums say this figure needs cutting in half but its still a better torch then my T7.

Try this for a fantastic Light for the price. I have one for my Bike and often go out night riding with no problems.
(I was told it's the same as 100 watt head light ??) there are lot on Flee-bay !800 lemans.

I have a lenser as well, but as I understand you shouldnt use rechargable batteries in them as there is no in line resistor with the LED.. I use them anyway without issue though. Great build quality, and every man should have a nice watch, a good torch and a nice knife.. and a LR... and a handmade axe... and a hunting lab... Lets just go ahead and say its something eveyone has a secret fetish for...

I got the one on 7dayshop to use as a bike light or head torch . It's a knock off of the magicshine. Yes they are good value at £30 or so. However, having to send mine back as it stops after 5 minutes. And no way is it 1200 lumens.

Another vote for LED lenser - got several now

Fenix is also awesome but I have found led lenser to be cheaper and cooler after some time lit up

I've used my lenser torch for walking the dog, but I've reverted to my old 5 LED Cateye cycle torch.

The lenser is undeniably the better torch, but it's an extremely bright point light and easily capable of damaging my dogs eyes if accidentally shone in his eyes at close range. It's all too easily done when you're trying to handle a lead and / or poo bag and / or umbrella at the same time.

I spoke with a vet over the weekend who also does a fair bit of hunting, on the land he goes on and reports he sees he said the weight of badgers is declining, which means they are over populated, as such there is not enough food per badger on the land to support a healthy population
