It's part of the right-hand (from the driver's seat) hood latch. |

I'm only going by the workshop manual, so I don't know what you'd need to remove to get at it, but it's part of the latch itself. I.e. the hood has two latches, one towards each end of the front edge. The receptacle for the RH one (LS if you're standing in front of the car looking at is) incorporates the switch. |
