I recently changed my car from a 56 plate SE 160 PS to a OY60 150PS TD4e, and it too felt underpowered. the dealer diagnosed a faulty haldex / pump, and replaced some bits. now it is fine........ |

I haven't driven a new 150...but the figures suggest that the 150 accelerates quicker than the old 160 as it has slightly more torque? Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35

Driven both and you're right. Torque is the same for both 150 and 190 bhp engines at 420Nm. |

maybe there is a faulty turbo ? or electronic throttle ? When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car |
