Hi all,

Got in my car tonight after a big down pour of rain and I heard a load dripping noise coming from the passenger side window area. I did a quick check as it was dark but everything was dry. Never heard the noise before when its been raining (owned the car 6 months). The dripping lasted abot 10 minutes. Ive no sunroof so that cant be the cause. Anyone experianced this before, is it normal? I know the roof sounds tinny when its raining but never heard dripping before.

Rain dripping inside the door from where its run down the window and got past the wiper seal at the ends, dont worry it should drain out of the holes in the door bottom.

I see, nothing to worry about then. Thanks for the info, will have a look at the tomorrow and check it out.

Thanks i will check the doors and tailgate out.

As said above check the Drain holes are not blocked. Had this once before and I could clearly here the water sloshing (is that a word) about.

Ive checked my doors, i'm thinking the square holes at the bottom of each door are the drain holes? All look clear even poked them with a pencil. Many thanks everyone for your advice!

Yes its a word, its when youre going out to get sloshed
